SFA Chapter 78 Presents $6025 Donation to the Sunburst Youth Academy

On May 31st, 2024, SFA Chapter 78 Vice President James McLanahan and his wife Melanie, joined by an academy founder Mary Lou Vachet (pictured leftmost), presented a $6,025 check to Sunburst Youth Academy. This donation stemmed from a winning bid at the chapter’s Medal of Honor Luncheon auction held in April. The cadets depicted in the photo above were all on hand to assist us on the day of our event.
